Ingredients

  • Rye whiskey2 oz
  • Simple syrup0.25 oz
  • Peychaud's bitters3 dashes
  • Absinthe1 rinse

Instructions

Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding any excess. In a mixing glass, combine rye, simple syrup, and bitters with ice. Stir until well-chilled. Strain into the prepared glass (neat, no ice). Garnish with a lemon peel, expressed and discarded.
